Projects & Pilot Deployments

Building Nigeria's EV charging network, one site at a time

Glintedge is actively developing EV charging projects across Nigeria. We coordinate equipment supply, EPC installation, solar integration, and ongoing support — working with site hosts, businesses, and developers who want to be part of this infrastructure build-out.

Where We Deploy

Project types we are actively developing

We are seeking site partners across these categories for EV charging pilot and full deployment projects across Nigeria.

Corporate & Commercial Sites

Workplace charging, office parks, shopping malls, and mixed-use commercial developments.

Gated Estates & Residential

EV charging for gated communities, housing estates, and serviced apartment developments.

Fuel Stations & Roadside Sites

Transition fuel stations to offer combined fuel and EV charging. Capture the next generation of road users.

Hotels & Hospitality Venues

Guest-facing charging for hotels, event centres, and leisure facilities across Nigeria.

Fleet Depots & Logistics

High-power depot charging for commercial fleets, logistics operators, and transport companies.

Solar + EV Integrated Sites

Off-grid or hybrid solar-battery-EV systems for sites with unreliable grid supply.

Why Host Chargers

Benefits for site hosts and landowners

Partnering with Glintedge to host EV chargers delivers commercial and operational value for your site.

New Revenue Stream

Earn income from EV charging sessions on otherwise idle parking space. Glintedge models potential returns based on your location and traffic.

Increased Footfall

EV drivers actively seek charging locations. Hosting chargers draws new customers and extends dwell time at your venue.

Grid-Resilient by Design

All our deployments can integrate solar and battery storage — making charging reliable and commercially viable even during grid outages.

Glintedge Handles Delivery

We coordinate equipment sourcing, EPC installation, commissioning, and ongoing support. You provide the location.

What makes a suitable site?

Not every site is ready for EV charging today — but many are closer than they think. Here is what we look for when assessing a site for a pilot or deployment project.

  • Commercial, hospitality, or roadside location with dedicated parking
  • Minimum of 10–15 parking bays preferred for pilot consideration
  • Site owner or long-term leaseholder (not a short-term tenancy)
  • Located in or near a major Nigerian city or transport corridor
  • Interest in a commercial arrangement — revenue share, co-investment, or own-and-operate

Not sure if your site qualifies? Register it anyway — we will assess it and advise.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who funds the chargers and installation?

Project models vary. Options include site-owner investment, revenue-share arrangements, and co-investment structures. We outline the available options during the scoping conversation.

What about Nigeria's grid reliability?

All our deployments can include solar panels and battery storage as backup. Charging remains operational even during outages — a key advantage for Nigerian commercial sites.

What is my role as a site host?

You provide the location, parking space, and a commercial arrangement. Glintedge coordinates equipment supply, EPC installation, commissioning, and ongoing technical management.

Do I need to be a landlord or can I be a leaseholder?

We work with both site owners and long-term leaseholders. We will advise on what documentation or permissions are relevant for your situation.

How do I get started?

Submit a site registration or message us on WhatsApp. We will schedule a scoping call and outline the project models relevant to your location and situation.
